Responsible Gambling
The gaming floor is one room in a larger building. We want it to stay that way — a measured part of a visit, never the reason for it.
01Our approach
We treat the gaming floor as a room, not a destination. The floor has windows — narrow ones — and a clock is visible from every seat. Staff are trained to notice when a guest may need a break and to offer one without judgement.
We do not run promotions designed to extend play. We do not offer credit on the floor. We do not serve complimentary alcohol to players. These are deliberate choices.
02Setting limits
Guests may set a personal spend limit at the floor desk before play begins. Once set, the limit holds for the evening. Staff can help you set or adjust a limit at any time.
You may also set a time limit. When the limit is reached, the floor desk will let you know. You are free to continue, but we will remind you once.
03Taking a break
Anyone can step away from the floor at any time, for any reason. The floor desk will hold your position at a table for up to 30 minutes if you wish to return. No explanation is needed.
04Self-exclusion
Guests may self-exclude from the gaming floor for a defined period — a week, a month, six months, or indefinitely. During the exclusion period, the guest cannot enter the floor, and any attempt to do so will be politely declined.
To self-exclude, speak with the floor manager or contact us in advance through the front desk. The request is confidential.
05Signs to watch for
Gambling can become a problem without being obvious. Signs that may indicate a problem include:
- Spending more than you planned, or more often than you planned
- Chasing losses — returning to win back what was lost
- Feeling anxious, irritable, or preoccupied with gambling
- Borrowing money or using savings to play
- Hiding the extent of play from people close to you
If any of these sound familiar, we encourage you to speak with the floor manager or contact one of the organisations listed below.
06Where to get help
Help is available. The following organisations offer confidential support and information for anyone affected by gambling:
- BeGambleAware — information and self-assessment tools
- GamCare — confidential helpline and live chat
- Gamblers Anonymous — peer support meetings
If you are in immediate distress, please contact a local helpline or healthcare provider.
07Staff training
All floor staff complete responsible-gambling training before working on the floor and refresh that training annually. Floor managers are trained to have quiet, private conversations with guests who may need support.
